Description:

What role do gender and intersectionality play in your research project – and which blind spots might remain unnoticed? This practical lab introduces key concepts and invites you to critically reflect on your research questions, assumptions, methods, data and notions of objectivity. Using illustrative examples, you will explore gender data gaps and biases in the research process. You will then review your own project and develop concrete approaches to more differentiated research.Generative AI will serve as a critical reflection partner: gender-sensitive and intersectional prompts can help you uncover new questions, perspectives and potential gaps. No prior knowledge is required. You are welcome to bring project ideas and specific questions relating to your research.Please bring a laptop or tablet with access to a generative AI tool that is already set up and ready to use. The workshop will also provide information on the most recent call for applications for the GO Forschung Budget.
