The representatives of the doctoral candidates are excited to invite you to the following event:

*** General Assembly & Stammtisch (Get Together) on April 14, 2026, 5:00 PM ***

Save the date and join us on April 14, 2026 (5:00 pm). We meet at the FZA (Africa) building.

• 5:00 pm: UBTGS General Assembly of Doctoral Candidates | S 147 (FZA):

We briefly introduce our activities followed by a short Q&A session regarding the work as representatives. As a representative, you can actively participate in discussions concerning circumstances of the doctorate at the UBTGS Board meetings, the Research Associates’ Council and the Senate (guest) and shape conditions for future doctoral cohorts. If you are interested in becoming one of our next representatives, please contact reps.graduateschool@uni-bayreuth.de.

• 6:00 pm: Stammtisch | Frischraum:

After the General Assembly, we look forward to chat with you during a casual dinner at the Frischraum.

No registration required. Also, be aware that both English and German can be spoken during the event, so don't worry if you don't speak German.
