You will not find a gold standard in science communication. Nevertheless, we want to exchange ideas about do's and don'ts with different channels and formats of science communication and learn from each other’s experiences. In individual spotlights, UBT colleagues will present the following platforms and channels:

• MOOCS and Online Learning Formats
• Twitter
• Website and Blog

You will receive Information on the specifics of each platform and different initiatives of its use at the UBT. You are invited to think about which format suits one's own science communication goal best. Guiding questions in planning and implementation could be:

• What was our goal?
• What worked and what did not?
• How did we find a solution?
• What surprised us or caught us off guard?
• Whom do we reach and whom do we possibly miss?
• How much in detail can we go?
• How much time do I need to consider?
• Do I need equipment?
• What developments have taken place since the beginning?

Qualification Goals

• Gain an overview of different channels and formats
• Tackle one's own science communication goal
• Learning about Do's & Don’ts in dealing with the presented channels
