Registration via BayDoc is obligatory for all doctoral candidates according to all doctoral regulations at the Univeristy of Bayreuth. Enrollment as a doctoral student (Immatrikulation) and acceptance for doctorate both require registration. During the registration process, we collect data on ongoing doctoratal procedure and forward this data annualy accoring to the Higher Education Statistics Act (Hochschulstatistikgesetz; March 2, 2016).

Within the first year after acceptance for doctorate at a faculty or graduate centre, you can apply for membership at the University of Bayreuth Graduate School. As a member, you can register for workshops (qualification programme) and see your individual budget.

Scientists with a doctorate can register on the WiN-UBT portal and apply for the qualification program and funding programs there.

Supervisors can see a list of their doctoral candidates and habilitation mentees, confirm new candidates and confirm publications for the publication bonus.
