Description
Successful teams:
For a team to be successful, the team members need to be led well. This is especially true in academia where the team members are intelligent and culturally diverse.
Teams that are made up of highly intelligent, independent and innovative people need a light touch. However, it isn’t just about dealing with team members. Dealing with external stakeholder at all different levels requires specialised techniques.

‘One size’ does not fit all:
In such an environment a flexible, highly targeted and subtle approach is essential.
This workshop will teach the skills necessary to build an efficient team that is able to work effectively both as a group and with external cooperation partners. The workshop will give new leaders the confidence and skills to drive practical and efficient change.

Outcomes:
Participants will learn skills which will enable them to proactively manage projects, communicate effectively with international groups and deliver meaningful results.

Workshop style:
The workshop draws on the personal experience of all participants as well as that of the trainer, thereby ensuring that the training is specific for and relevant to the participants’ individual needs. The workshop will be a structured discussion forum to facilitate ideas and develop strategies.

*Creditability within the kick-off seminar

For reasons of respect and fairness towards all participants and the workshop leaders, participants who miss more than 10% of the workshop are considered not to be present. You will therefore not receive a certificate and you will not be able to use the workshop in question to unlock funds or acquire further qualifications.

Before you register, please confirm with your supervisor/employer that you are free to participate in the course on that date.
