Welcome! On November 13, we hosted our 14th Kick-Off Seminar for new Graduate School members at Hotel Rheingold.

Once again, we say: Welcome to UBT!

For the fourteenth time since its foundation, UBT Graduate School welcomed new members at the Kick-Off Seminar at Hotel Rheingold, Bayreuth. UBT Graduate School Director Prof. Hans-Werner Schmidt and Dr. Carola Braun talked about specific UBT structures, interdisciplinary aspects of a doctoral project, Good Scientific Practice and the services of the Graduate School. In addition, the UBT Library, the Research Support Unit, Writing Centre and the FBZHL introduced their services to all new members.

Dr. Braun says: “Doctoral candidates are an essential and central part of the UBT community and we are very happy to welcome our new members today! This event provides a perfect opportunity for young scholars to get in touch and to build transdisciplinary networks”.
