Funding for a research stay at Stanford University

The Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation announces its fellowship program "The Krupp-Foundation Fellowship for Visiting Student Researchers at Stanford." It invites doctoral students in the humanities to apply for funding to spend time at Stanford University as part of their dissertation project. Applications are open for the following subjects:
Art History, Classics, Comparative Literature, German Studies, Spanish Philology and Latin American Studies, English Studies, American Studies, History, Musicology, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Jewish Studies, and Theater Studies.
The Krupp Foundation will award three scholarships for a period of up to 6 months. The fellowship will begin in early January 2023 and is endowed with €2,500 per month. The Foundation will provide a one-time grant of €3,000 to cover travel expenses and visa fees. The application deadline is March 31, 2022.

Important note about the Corona situation: Stanford University expects that foreign doctoral students will be able to study and conduct research at the Stanford University campus in January 2023. However, it reserves the right to suspend the program should the Corona situation require it again. Therefore, the Krupp Foundation cannot guarantee full implementation of the program for 2023 at this time.
