The University of Valladolid is organizing the SGroup BIP (Blended Intensive Programme) on Doctoral Education, an initiative developed within the SGroup Think Tank for Doctoral Studies. The programme aims to support PhD students and doctoral candidates of the SGroup member institutions to inspire and enhance Doctoral Education innovation. The objective is to deliver high-quality joint training offered by SGroup members enriched by the different approaches of participating universities using the strengths of the several participants. 

The programme includes both online and in-person sessions. You can find the full schedule here. Online sessions take place on September 20, 21, and 25, the in-person sessions take place at the University of Valladolid from October 2 to 6, 2023. 

Participants are expected to bear the travel and accommodation expenses, may, however, apply for support at the University of Bayreuth International Office. The University of Valladolid will bear the cost of Coffee breaks, lunches (four days), the farewell cocktail and also the programmed social activities such as the Valladolid city tour, a trip to Peñafiel with a visit to a winery and a trip to Segovia.
