Deadline 23.03.2026: Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities Call for Membership Applications

The Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA) is looking for new members. AGYA promotes research cooperation among excellent early-career researchers (3-10 years after PhD) from all disciplines affiliated with a research institution in Germany or any Arab country. The Academy supports the inter- and transdisciplinary research projects of its members who collaborate in Arab-German tandems and working groups on topics such as Health and Society; Dynamics of Transformation; Energy, Water and Environment; Arab and German Education; Common Heritage and Common Challenges; and Innovation.
AGYA is based at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW) in Germany and at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) in Egypt. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) and several Arab and German cooperation partners.
Eligibility: Early-career researchers (3-10 years after PhD) from any field of the Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Technical Sciences, and the Arts affiliated to a university or research institutionn in Germany of any Arab country.
