First it will be given an overview on research and its funding in Germany and Europe. How much money is given by whom to do research? Which kind of research is funded by which funding institutions? Where can you find information about funding with which inquiry tools. What are the prerequisutes to make applications. Which different ways you have to look for. At least the structure and „tricks“ of good applications wil be shown. In the second part on the afternoon there will be group work to develop applications in a crash course. The results will be presented by participants and discussed by all. At the end there will time be to discuss any questions and the seven mortal sins making applications will be shown.

You should get a feeling for good applications.
