Description
Finishing a doctoral thesis can be a milestone in your life story, but the way can also be quite laborious and exhausting. How do PhD students and already finished PhD students deal with upcoming demands and obstacles? In this workshop we want to highlight various success factors and hurdles on the way to awarding a PhD and focus the opportunities for your personal development during this period.
After a welcome and introduction round, the participants discuss their personal requirement profiles in everyday university life. Enriched with theoreti-cal impulses, coping strategies for the identified requirements are develo-ped and reflected on together with the lecturer. The first workshop will be concluded with a discussion and feedback session.
Guided by orientation questions, the participants reflect on selected coping strategies until the follow-up. In the follow-up, the experiences are discussed in exchange with the other participants and together with the lecturer.
