Description
This course is aimed at doctoral candidates in the later stages of their candidature, writing their thesis or papers. We offer three input sessions on how to build a writing routine followed by a 24h writing bootcamp across time zones.

- How to set realistic goals
- Regaining momentum after a writing break ("The first word")
- How to deal with distractions and setting the scene for a perfect workspace
- How to get into the real mental space and fins your motivation
- How to overcome perfectionism
- How to improve productivity
- Share techniques and experiences
Final event:
Hybrid writing session around the globe adding up to a 24h writing relay. Choose the most productive time for yourself and find productivity in a group setting via Zoom or in B11 (on campus).
Please note: You need to join all 4 input workshops (10./17./24.05. 9-11 am, 31.05. 11 am-1 pm) and be present for at least 2 additional hours during the 24h hybrid writing relay in order to receive a certificate of participation and fulfill the individual budget requirement of participation in a workshop marked with an *.
For reasons of respect and fairness towards all participants and the workshop leaders, participants who miss more than 10% of the workshop are considered not to be present. You will therefore not receive a certificate and you will not be able to use the workshop in question to unlock funds or acquire further qualifications.
Before you register, please confirm with your supervisor/employer that you are free to participate in the course on that date.
