Description:

The RDM team at the University of Bayreuth offers support in all phases of a research project. This one-hour module starts at the very beginning of a project idea and provides an introduction to Research Data Management.
We will explore the following questions:
What is behind the term research data management?
Why is good research data management so important for my research project?
What exactly are research data?
What is ‘fair’ data?
What are the FAIR and CARE principles?
What do the various funding organisations expect when dealing with research data?
What does the University of Bayreuth expect from you when handling research data?

* Workshops from the RDM area can only be credited for the kick-off seminar or within the WiN certificate if a total of at least 4 hours has been completed. The composition of the RDM modules is freely selectable.

Before you register, please confirm with your supervisor/employer that you are free to participate in the course on that date.
