Once again, we welcome our new members! For the twenty-sixth time since its foundation, UBT Graduate School welcomed new members at the Kick-Off Seminar. Due to Corona, the Kick-Off Seminar took place as online-seminar via Zoom. UBT Graduate School Director Prof. Dr. Hans-Werner Schmidt talked about specific UBT structures, interdisciplinary aspects of a doctoral project, Good Scientific Practices and the services of the Graduate School. In addition, the UBT Library, the FBZHL, the Research Support Office, the Writing Centre and the Bayreuth Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation introduced their services to all new members.

Professor Schmidt says: “Doctoral candidates are an essential and central part of the UBT community and we are very happy to welcome our new members today! This event provides a perfect opportunity for young scholars to get in touch and to build transdisciplinary networks”.
