The Junge Kolleg ((Young Academy) of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities will accept new members from March 2023.

Members of the Junge Kolleg receive annual funding of 12,000 euros. The funding period is set for three years. In case of a successful evaluation, membership can be extended for up to three years.
The application deadline is September 30, 2022.

The main criteria for admission are:

• An outstanding doctorate and evidence of independent scientific work in the postdoc phase.
  
• A realistic future-oriented project that is suitable for interdisciplinary exchange and clearly distinguishes itself from the doctorate
  
• You have not yet reached the age of 35 at the time of application (child-rearing or care periods may be taken into account)
  
• You work at a university or scientific institution in Bavaria
