This workshop is part of the "Woche des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses - Research Funding" from 01 - 05 April 2019
In this workshop for researchers in the Natural Sciences, we will be discussing how to write a project proposal in English. We will be looking for answers to the following questions: What is the connection between the call for proposals and your project proposal? What can you do to convince the funders to fund your work?
Qualification objectives You will leave the workshop feeling more confident about writing project proposals in English. In particular, you will have learnt about adjusting your writing to reader expectations and about devices for improving the strength of your message.
Trainer Ergonomist and Linguist, 25 years in industry consulting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises. Written numerous project proposals for German and EU funding. Evaluated project proposals for EU-projects. Since 2006 – Facilitator for English in the Academic Setting, in particular written English.
