You are a PhD student or a Post-Doc researcher who is working on an innovative project or technology? Would you maybe like to put your research results into practice one day? Then our programme "PhD to MVP" is just right for you!
In this workshop, we will show you how to successfully put your research results or ideas into practice and provide you with valuable tips and tools. Benefit from our many years of experience in start-up support and network of other potential founders.
"PhD to MVP" is a 120-minutes workshop that gives participants an initial sense of how to turn their innovation from their research into a viable business. Using real-world examples and interactive group discussions, participants will learn how to apply the design thinking process and outline a working business model.
The workshop covers the following:

• Why should I become an entrepreneur? Benefits of starting a business
• Design thinking, creation of a comprehensive business model and definition of target audience
• Insight into funding opportunities, specifically the application for EXIST funding
• Networking with our start-up ecosystem and potential co-founders

For reasons of respect and fairness towards all participants and the workshop leaders, participants who miss more than 10% of the workshop are considered not to be present. You will therefore not receive a certificate and you will not be able to use the workshop in question to unlock funds or acquire further qualifications.
