Description:

Dr Higgins from the Research Support Office will begin by presenting the key DFG funding lines designed to support early career researchers. These include the Walter Benjamin Program, the Emmy Noether Program, and the Heisenberg Program.
Following this, Professor Brendel will share insights from his academic journey, during which he successfully secured funding through all of the aforementioned programs. In addition to outlining his career development, he will offer practical advice on the application process and procedures, and reflect on the decision-making processes that shaped his path.

For reasons of respect and fairness towards all participants and the workshop leaders, participants who miss more than 10% of the workshop are considered not to be present. You will therefore not receive a certificate and you will not be able to use the workshop in question to unlock funds or acquire further qualifications.
