Description:
This workshop deepens your understanding of how networks may positively influence your career, your research projects and your personal development, and it helps increase the usefulness of your own networks.
Topics covered, and questions addressed, include:
- How to think about networking
- What are my goals in developing my network?
- How does my network currently look like?
- What can I do about gaps in my network?
- How and where to develop my network
- How to act in relevant situations
- How to maintain my network
In addition, there is room for your own questions and concerns.
In this workshop you will learn:
- how to differentiate between several forms of networking
- how to explore, expand and maintain your own network
- how to network to advance your goals
- how to reach out to others in different situations and media
- how to network in a way that is mutually beneficial
* Creditability within the kick-off seminar
For reasons of respect and fairness towards all participants and the workshop leaders, participants who miss more than 10% of the workshop are considered not to be present. You will therefore not receive a certificate and you will not be able to use the workshop in question to unlock funds or acquire further qualifications.
