Description:
The long-term digital availability of research data is an important aspect of research data management that can extend over the different phases of the data lifecycle. This course provides a general overview of the topic of long-term availability of data. In addition to the various components that should be considered for long-term availability, the characteristics of sustainable, long-term capable file formats are explained and possible criteria for the selection of research data for long-term availability are presented. The course is aimed at anyone interested in creating the best possible conditions for the long-term availability of their research data right from the start of their research work.

You will therefore not receive a certificate and you will not be able to use the workshop in question to unlock funds or acquire further qualifications.
