Description:

Please note that the course does not give a detailed insight into the statistical procedures and the underlying mathematics (basic statistical knowledge is assumed), but introduces how to use standard statistical procedures in Stata. After attending the first day of the course, students with no prior Stata knowledge will be able to use basic commands in Stata, understand the basic logic of “how Stata works”, and will use do- and log-files to document their analyses. The second day builds upon the first, but is also open to intermediate beginners, who know how to use do-files and perform simple regression analyses. It will cover more commands for analyses and add automation techniques like loops and macros as well as the production of publishable tables and graphics.
