Description:
Excellence in attracting research funding and top young researchers increasingly depends on integrating gender, diversity and intersectionality into rigorous design—across engineering and natural sciences, as well as the humanities and social sciences. Major funders now demand these dimensions because they shape validity, relevance and impact. This executive training combines high-level input with hands-on exercises and peer consultation.
Relevant for researchers and evaluators alike, Part 1 provides an overview of current international funding expectations. Using striking failures and best cases, it shows how blind spots weaken design, interpretation and application—and how systematic checks improve robustness, innovation and competitiveness.
Part 2 turns insight into practice: participants use tested tools and guided exercises to identify, strengthen and justify these aspects at every project stage—from research question to publication.
