The 45th Kick-off Seminar of the University of Bayreuth Graduate School will take place on 12. June 2026 as an in-person event. The SWO Tagungsraum is located next to the Central Administration Building of the University.

Please note that participation in the entire event (including lunch) is required and please bring your mensa card since lunch is on a self-pay basis. For reasons of respect and fairness towards all participants and staff, participants who miss more than 10% of the workshop are considered not to be present. They will not receive a certificate and will not be able to use this kick-off seminar to unlock the individual budget.

UBTGS members are required to participate in the half-day Kick-off Seminar and in addition to that, in a non-methodical WiN workshop that is marked with an *. Further, UBTGS members have to complete the online module "Good Scientific Practice". After completing the three requirements, members can use their individual budget.
