Description:

Many researchers build deep expertise but rarely stop to make it visible — even to themselves. Constant short-term contracts push us into reacting to the next opportunity, rather than shaping a career from the inside out.This challenge is especially pronounced for women in academia. Career breaks such as maternity leave can make it harder to find the way back onto a clear research track — skills and achievements built before the break can feel harder to reconnect with, and the path forward can feel less certain than before. A clear, well-articulated competence profile is one concrete way to counter that — turning what you've already built into something visible, ownable, and usable as you plan your next step, whether that's a grant application, interview, or simply regaining direction.

This half-day workshop is offered exclusively for female PhD candidates, postdocs, and master's students. No prior experience needed — just openness to reflect and share in a supportive, all-women group.
You'll leave with: a working draft of your competence profile, one clear next step for your career, and honest feedback from peers who understand the path you're on.
