The represenatives of the doctoral candidates are excited to invite you to the following Stammtisch event:

***Running Dinner on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 6pm in Bayreuth***

The idea of this event is to get a 3-course menu, where you prepare one of the three courses for yourself and two other groups that will visit you (so 6 people in total). And, as a counterpart, you will visit other places for the other two courses.

Don’t worry about making a perfect/spectacular dish, a simple dish is absolutely fine. It is more about socializing and getting to know others!

Important notes:

• You need to register for this event together with someone else (so as a group of 2 people).
  
• If you cannot find a cooking partner, we will try to match you with someone else.
  
• Please be aware that registration is binding, because we will organise a timetable and match groups together for the different courses.
  
• Also note that to arrive on time, biking (cars, or similar) might be the best choice of travelling between the different courses.
  

The timetable for the event will be as follows:

6 pm - 7.15 pm: starter

7.30 pm - 9 pm: main course

9.15 pm - open end: dessert

All doctoral candidates and everyone interested are welcome to join, so feel free to share this invitation with others!

You will require the following information:

• Name of you and your cooking partner
  
• Address, where you like to cook (Please try to choose a place in Bayreuth city, not too far for others to reach and be aware that you need to host 4 other people)
  
• Any special needs to consider? (vegetarian, vegan, else...?)
  

Again, please be aware that your registration is binding! So, if you really can't participate, please try to find a replacement or/and let us know as soon as possible!

You will receive further information about the course you are supposed to prepare and your private timetable some days before the event.
